Examinations Assistant

PART TIME

EXAMINATIONS ASSISTANT

Salary:  NJC Scale 2, Points 3-4 (£26,238 to £26,634 FTE)

Actual Salary:  £9,756 per annum depending on experience

(Pay increase pending for current academic year)

15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (inc INSET days)

 

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint an Examinations Assistant to start as soon as possible. This position is a new role within our existing Exams Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth running of examinations by supporting our very experienced Examinations Officer in the management, organisation and administration of internal and public exams.

Although this is a term time only role, you will be required to work 7 additional days during the school holidays. Due to the seasonal nature of examinations, you will also need considerable flexibility with regard to working hours, especially in the summer term.

Actual Salary:  £23,155 per annum depending on experience

Working hours 8.15am-4.15pm

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Coach to join our fantastic team of Cover Teachers to cover classes for short term absence of teaching staff.  You will additionally play a key role in delivering Sports Coaching within our enrichment programme of after-school activities, working with an outstanding PE department committed to sporting excellence and opportunity.

This postholder will support teaching staff in delivering the highest quality learning experiences, in order that all our students achieve their potential. This role involves working across many departments and across the age range. Our students are ambitious and well behaved, making this role perfect for anyone who enjoys working within a school community.

You will be required to cover a range of subjects from Years 7 to 11, including overseeing the completion of set work and managing the behaviour of students.

Although experience and qualifications will be an advantage, first and foremost we wish to appoint the right people to complement our team.  The successful applicants will have access to on-site training and support.
